Our team
Tim Moore
Where do we even start with Tim? He has had such a huge impact on not just our company but in every aspect of the industry he has been a part of. He began his career in 1978 with Clopay as a salesman. Over time his knowledge and experience has garnered him many accolades, most notably being voted in as the president of the ARDI (American Rolling Door Institute) from 1994 to 1995.
Tim joined the Crosby team in 2018, bringing his decades of expertise into the heart of Greensburg. He serves as our Commercial and Industrial Manager. When Andrew and DJ purchased the business in 2024 he was a key aspect of keeping the business focused on the historical reputation Crosby has earned over its 80 years of operation.
When he finds the rare moment of down time Tim likes to unwind with a good book or escaping the everyday by taking trips (especially to the beach) with his lovely wife Marge. He recently discovered the joys of model railroading as well, which he pursues with his son Pat.
On top of all of his hard work here, Tim also volunteers at the Westmoreland Food Bank and is heavily involved with his church, Christ's Church of Greensburg.
Marra Balmer
Marra joined Crosby as Andrew and DJ took over as owners in 2024 in the role of office manager. If you've called in to our office chance are you've spoken to her. She uses her background as an educator and aide to juggle all of the jobs thrown her way. It's for certain that without her steadfast professionalism and upbeat personality the office would probably be in shambles.
Marra likes to bake to help unwind, always ready to make up any kind of treat for any excuse, typically making enough to feed a small army. She also enjoys writing to help relieve stress. For fun she can also be found playing Dungeons & Dragons or designing her next cosplay to wear to the next SciFi Valley con.
Andrew Shafer
Andrew has 9 years here at Crosby Garage Doors and a total of 17 years working in the business. As of 2024 he is now president and co-owner of the company. Whether it's commercial or residential Andrew is a master of it all. His experience and quick thinking allow him to puzzle out any situation and come to a brilliant solution no matter the challenge.
When he finds the time, Andrew loves making it out to live jam band shows. Aside from that he has a passion for board games and trading card games, especially Flesh and Blood TCG which he plays most frequently at Green Tree Sports Cards. Andrew is also a member of the Alleghany Highlands Region SCCA and enjoys autocrossing and motorsports.
DJ Wyandt
DJ has been with Crosby Garage Doors for 7 years, 5 of those years in the residential service truck and the remaining 2 as vice president and co-owner of the business. DJ's knowledge of all things Linear garage door openers, tremendous people skills, and ability to add humor to a situation helped him both in the service truck and in selling doors.
Besides co-owning the business, DJ also devotes a huge chunk of his year mentoring high school students as Conemaugh Township High School's Set Director for their spring musical. When he does find the time to relax, DJ can be found playing the trading card game Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and video games. He also loves taking his dog, Bandit, out on adventures.
Pat Moore
Pat has over 25 years of experience working in the garage door field and has been with Crosby Garage Doors since 2018. His expertise on the commercial side of our business is invaluable and his relationship with the community provides a more personable touch to our customers.
Pat enjoys biking, kayaking, and camping any time he can get away. Anything outdoors and he is a happy man with long haul bike trips or group river events, such as the Stonycreek Rendezvous. Recently he has discovered a new hobby, model railroading.
Dan Donohue
Dan joined Crosby Garage Doors in September of 2025 and has already cemented his place as an indispensable member of the crew. He works alongside Pat on our commercial crew. This is his first job working in the garage door field but with his upbeat personality, quick wit, and unending capacity to learn there's no stopping him.
In his free time Dan can be caught enjoying live music (so many shows). Dan has said his second home is Preserving Underground in New Kensington. He has a passion for running, taking part in a number of marathons, and playing board games when he wants to unwind.
Bradley Bixel
Brad has been with Crosby Garage Doors since 2024. In that time he has become a powerhouse on our residential service crew. His history in sales and life as a musician shines through with his charismatic approach to his work and his relationship with our customers.
When he's not working here, Brad pours his heart and soul into his music. Either performing solo, as a member of EmBr acoustic, or picking up with a number of local bands. He also likes to unwind with video games or playing Dungeons and Dragons.
Rich Eicher
Rich has been apart of the Crosby Garage Door team since 2024, but has a total of three years of experience in the garage door field. If you've ever had a door installed or repaired at your home by Crosby, chances are you've met Rich. With his expansive knowledge, attention to detail, and hard working attitude
When he's not working Rich is probably outside enjoying hiking, kayaking, or riding his Harley. He also enjoys working out, with an impressive 525 deadlift for 5 reps. Rich likes to unwind with some gaming, most notably Everquest.
3 years of doors. Main hobbies are working out, riding motorcycles, hiking, kayaking and video games.
Brandon Laurie
As of October of 2025 Brandon has been a member of the Crosby Garage Door team. He has six years of experience in the field. Brandon moved down from the Boston area where he worked for DSI. We are very lucky to have his insight and wicked professionalism to bolster our team. Brandon is part of our install crew!
Brandon enjoys anything outdoors, particularly hiking and fishing. He also has a passion for paintball, previously playing on a national level team, the A.G. Knights. Brandon is also a big animal lover and enjoys spending time with his pups!
Dylan Bartsch
Since 2024 Dylan has been with us here at Crosby Garage Doors. He's easy going and ready to tackle any task handed his way, making him a valuable member of any team. You can find him most often working on our residential install crew.
Dylan likes to spend his free time outdoors especially kayaking and hiking. No matter what he's doing though, he enjoys it more if he has his family by his side. Dylan also has a passion for photography.
