Is your commercial garage door a good reflection of your company’s image?

There’s no lack of choice…

Of course you want a commercial garage door that does the job, but it can also be attractive! Most often we think of residential garage doors when discuss garage door design. Yet there are ways to make your commercial garage door good looking and convey the dynamic image you want for your business.

Did you know that Garaga manufactures metal garage doors with embossed designs not just for the residential market but these designs are also available for commercial businesses? Here are some examples:

Another design option would be to use your garage door as a big outdoor sign by placing your company’s logo there and some pictures of the products you carry. These additions will help customers more easily find your store. Nowadays, the selection of vinyl decals that you can stick to the outside of your door is impressive. Just make sure with your city regulations if there are any restrictions.

Another factor that needs to be considered…

For an even more attractive look for your garage door, think about its windows. You’ve most likely noticed how car dealerships often opt for an all-glass garage door, not only to permit the full light of day to satisfy their mechanics, but also to reassure their clientele who want to take a look of the work being done to their car. Similarly, firehouses have these types of doors, in this case, to reassure citizens that their firetrucks are ready to respond if a fire breaks out in their town.

As for the types of glass available that can be used in all-glass garage doors, there is a huge selection – clear, laminated, gray, tinted, fluted polycarbonate, glue chip… more than 25 possible choices!

For some of you, an all-glass garage door is maybe not the best alternative. Certainly, the issue of security may be of top importance when considering the addition of windows. Depending on the height of your garage door, windows can be placed in the top section to prevent passersby from seeing what you have in your storeroom. Continuing along those lines, if these windows have clear glass, and are larger, say 40" x 13" you’ll still have considerable natural light coming in. On the other hand, if you need to have windows so that you can see who is on the outside, the size 21" X 8" is ideal and small enough to stop a burglar from slipping through one.
