I debated about saying anything because it is on the inside, but figured I would mention it here so that if anything were to happen as a result of the scratch/dent that I would have this as back up.

I recently purchased a garage door from Crosby Garage Door Co. Michael, the owner, discussed all the features their doors have. He came out and reviewed everything in detail regarding the door. He helped me make up my mind on a couple of different options. They had it installed in 2-hours and it looks great! Extremely happy with the door, Mike and the installers. Highly recommend this company and their work!

I called to report the problem and was told to use Dawn dishwashing… Read more I requested service for a broken spring. The spring was replaced however they got oil/grease on the exterior side of the door. I called to report the problem and was told to use Dawn dishwashing liquid. It didn't help. Two service technicians told us that we "removed some type of powder worsening the problem and we should have let them clean the door". BJ/DJ (whatever his name was) was absolutely rude, belligerent and argumentative. I would never use Crosby Garage Door Co.

Sorry you are unhappy with our service tech. Dawn dish soap would normally clean off the oil left on your door. Due to the age of your door the paint finish has started to break down causing a powder finish to form on the surface. We were not aware of this in the office when you called. Our service techs returned and cleaned the entire surface of your garage door. We try to do our best for all our customers, but sometimes situations can become a little difficult.Awesome experience
